Timothy C. den Dulk is Vice President of the Midwest Division of Select Milk Producers. He was a co-founder of both Select Milk Producers and Continental Dairy Products and was instrumental in the merger of the two cooperatives. He was intimately involved in the development and building of the Coopersville, Michigan, milk powder and fairlife processing plants and continues to work closely with plant management today.
Mr. den Dulk co-founded Quality Milk Sales. He started his dairy career in California and moved to Michigan in late 1995. He owns interests in dairies located in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Iowa, and South Dakota. He also has significant farming operations associated with the dairies. He is an owner in Wheatfield Grain Company, a small regional elevator in northwest Indiana. He partners in dairy heifer raising operations in Texas and Oregon, as well as beef feedlots in several Midwestern states. He grows almonds, walnuts, and wine grapes in central California, in a partnership managed by family.
Mr. den Dulk was appointed by Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack to serve on the Dairy Industry Advisory Committee in 2010 and served on the reelection committee for Representative Pete Hoekstra of Michigan. Mr. den Dulk is also involved in several committees for charitable organizations associated with his church. He lives in Michigan with his wife Marietta; they have five children and six grandchildren.
